Internal project Luxury
Prepare a client appointment in 2 minutes, with an assistant designed by the sales associates
Twenty minutes spent rereading a client history before each appointment. A clear brief, in three languages, that leaves the relationship to the sales associate.

Internal project, carried out among members of the collective to explore the luxury sector. This is not a client engagement: “Atelier Sévane” is a demo brand.
Context
The need we imagined, based on what we hear in the sector:
Our sales associates spend around twenty minutes rereading a client’s history before a private appointment. Headquarters wants AI. The boutiques are afraid of losing what defines the house: the relationship.
Typical client: A leather goods house present in Paris, Tokyo and Seoul, where the in-store relationship matters as much as the product.
The challenge
- 1
The relationship stays human
The assistant prepares; it doesn’t recommend in place of the sales associate. Each suggestion says why it appears.
- 2
Sensitive client data
Access limited by boutique, no payment data, no automated profiling without oversight, GDPR compliance in every country.
- 3
Three languages, one standard
Brief in French, English and Japanese, with the same editorial care as the house itself.
The engagement we would run
Typical 6-week engagement
Here’s how we would run this engagement for a real client. The screens and demo below were produced during the internal project.
- 1
Research · Weeks 1 and 2
Immersion in 3 boutiques in Paris and 2 in Tokyo, 15 interviews with sales associates and boutique managers.
- 2
Design · Week 3
Appointment schedule, preparation sheet (key moments, preferences, pieces owned, occasions), reasoned suggestions.
- 3
Development and testing · Week 4
History summarized by a language model, in FR, EN and JA, tested with 6 sales associates on iPad.
- 4
AI Act audit · Weeks 5 and 6
Transparency, human oversight, log of dismissed suggestions, remediation plan.

The screens

Appointment schedule. The sales associate’s day, with the reason for each client’s visit and the estimated preparation time.

Preparation sheet. Key moments, preferences, pieces owned and upcoming occasions, summarized in a few lines.

Reasoned suggestions. Three possible pieces, each with its reason. The sales associate chooses, dismisses, or doesn’t bring it up.
